About Us

Little Island Learning Co was created out of a love for open-ended toys and boundless play. With over 25 years of combined education experience—and as teachers and friends—Lauren and Liv have been constantly sharing ideas, exploring educational toys and discussing ways to provide children with fun, valuable play opportunities. They recognized the numerous benefits of creative play, and they wanted to make quality toys more accessible to parents, teachers and children.  Lauren and Liv have the educational expertise, understanding of child development and strong visions of the far-reaching rewards that open-ended toys give children. They have collaborated with their partners, Devere and Nick, to source the highest quality, safe and meaningful products. Together, Lauren, Liv, Devere and Nick created Little Island Learning Co. The Little Island Learning Co. team believes play is an exciting journey. They hope to accompany you on that journey—sharing ideas, educating parents and exploring ways to maximize play and learning.
